Day 13 pics…

The deep red areas increase in size a little more Everyday. People msg me and ask; What does it feel like? Hard to explain. Is is like the worst sunburn of your life times one hundred. Even a gentle touch from my fingers feels like I am using acidic sandpaper on my face. Okay, maybe it is not that hard to explain after all. It’s all good, as I have said in many other posts; there are a lot of people a lot worse off than me. They are in my prayers.

Almost halfway done. I got this, keep swimming!

God bless,

-Ian

  1. The end is in sight and all of us who are keeping you close by in our hearts and prayers couldn’t be happier. I wish you could know how many people you are helping by sharing the reality of this tough journey. Prayers for you, your wife and daughter.

  2. I am sure some days you feel like you are swimming upstream and other days downstream. The important thing is that you just keep on swimming Ian. Brighter days are ahead. So many are praying for you and the medical staff who are caring for you during this ordeal.

  3. Nice work Ian. I’m a skin cancer doctor in Australia, and I often describe Fluorouracil as a hand-holding therapy. It is definitely a journey, but I’ve seen great results tat last over 5 years, so the journey is worth it.

  4. Good Morning Ian,

WOW, I got tears in my eyes looking at your pictures this morning. I feel so bad that such a good person is hurting so much. Seems each of us “go through the fire” several times during our lifetime. I think it makes us stronger. We learn patience, perseverance, perspective and we are given the special time to look within ourselves and do a sort of inventory of our thoughts and actions of past and present. A personal honing to be that better person we were created to be. We would not take that kind of time for ourselves unless we are put in the position to do so. Time is so precious…use it wisely.

God Bless you and your family!
